Geoffrey Hallmann
Geoffrey Peter Hallmann is an Australian patient, advocate and researcher. A former solicitor, Hallmann was diagnosed in April 1998 and is the current chair of ME/CFS Australia Ltd. He holds honors degrees in business (Accounting/Data Processing) and law, as well as diplomas in legal practice and financial planning.

Hallmann was completing a PhD entitled Persons with ME/CFS: An Examination of Health Issues and Relationships with Social Institutions in Australia at Southern Cross University, under supervision by Dr. Rosanne Coutts and Dr. Yvonne Hartman. He commenced his PhD in 2004. Since 2013 he has been on hiatus. He has presented a number of abstracts at the IACFSME Conferences in 2011 (Ottawa), 2014 (San Francisco) and 2016 (Fort Lauderdale) which covered a broad range of social and legal issues. Hallmann has been advocating for 20 years. In 2016 he joined to the board of ME/CFS Australia Ltd and in 2017 became chair.
