Heartburn

Heartburn, or acid indigestion, is a burning sensation in the central chest or upper central abdomen, though the discomfort may radiate to the neck, throat, or jaw. Heartburn is usually due to gastric reflux into the esophagus, as the major symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).[1]
