Marion Michell is a London-based artist and writer who has lived with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) since 1999 and was diagnosed with Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) in 2014.

Her book Supinely Sublimely was published by Palewell Press in December 2016. In carefully crafted and tightly focused chronicles it evokes the highs and lows of trying to maintain a creative practice as an artist/writer whose days are framed by a debilitating and little understood disease.

She was interviewed by Melissa Viney for her series Chronic Illness and Creativity, broadcast on Radio4, Woman’s Hour on 25 August 2016
