Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder or OCD is common, long-lasting disorder involving uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts (obsessions) that cause anxiety and behaviors (compulsions) that the individual feels the urge to repeat to cope with the anxiety.[1]
