Sertraline
From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history
Sertraline is an antidepressant medication, commonly marketed as Zoloft. In addition to use for depression, it is also prescribed to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, and symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder.[1] It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI),[1] meaning it increases serotonin levels by blocking the brain's reabsorption of the neurotransmitter.[2]
