Sleep apnea

Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder involving breathing stopping and restarting during sleep.[1]

The three main types of sleep apnea are:[1]

  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Central sleep apnea
  • Complex sleep apnea syndrome
