Maintenance templates
Cleanup and maintenance templates add a message box to alert other editors, and let them know what changes are needed to an article or page.
Removing the message
First resolve the issue. Make sure you check the talk page for any important information before trying to the the message.
In the visual editor
Edit the page, find where the message is displayed, then highlight it and press Delete on your keyboard.
In the source editor
Look for where the message is. It will be surrounded by {{ }} curly brackets and is often at the very top of the page. Highlight the section including the curly brackets, then press Delete and preview the page to check for errors.
