Immunoglobulin M, or IgM is a basic antibody that is produced by B cells.

One study found elevated serum concentrations of both IgA and IgM to lipopolysaccharides of gram-negative bacteria. Serum IgA levels correlated with illness severity as measured by the FibroFatigue scale[1]

Some view CFS as a neurological disease, others use the term for any unexplained long-term fatigue. Sometimes used as a the term as a synonym of myalgic encephalomyelitis, despite the different diagnostic criteria.
