Ulcerative colitis is a disease that causes inflammation of the colon and rectum resulting in bloody diarrhea and abdominal pain. It is also found as a co-morbidity in many cases of ME/CFS but relevance is unknown. Ulcerative Colitis is considered to be an autoimmune disease.
